Penn Badgley Induced Fear In Jenna Ortega

One thing fans noted aboutJenna Ortega’sEllie Alves was just how much she could go head-to-head withPenn Badgley’sJoe Goldberg. Although the two started off as people who were just trying to learn things from each other, it quickly turned into a thrilling back-and-forth between the two.

“Because when he is in it, he gets this look in his eyes, and I don’t think — I’ve never seen someone play the line of super sweet guy but also serial killer so nicely. He could go from charming to like I need to get out of this room right away just with his facial expression, which is so hard to do, but he kills it every time.”

The actress admitted that she would genuinely get scared of her co-star. His acting was always so spot-on that she would often find herself facing Joe Goldberg and not Badgley.
