Wuthering Waves 2.4 Livestream Teases Six New Characters for Future Versions
At the end of theWuthering Waves 2.4 livestream, Kuro Games teased the character designs and names of six new resonators. While we had already gotten a peek at three of them in-game and in the trailer, it was the first time we got to see others. Considering the community is quite excited by this revelation and may wish to know about it, this article covers the names and all available details about the six upcoming WuWa characters.

Wuthering Waves Announces Six Upcoming Playable Characters
As mentioned above, Kuro Games showcased the character designs of six upcoming characters at the end of the Wuthering Waves livestream. Additionally, they shared the official artworks of these units along with a short description on their official X account the next day. Let’s look at all the newly teased resonators and their official descriptions:
1. Phrolova
“The long-awaited performance”
Phrolova is one of the Fractsidus Overseers and has already appeared in the Rinascita Chapter of the game as an antagonist. She was initially introduced in the Jinzhou Chapter and has appeared in-game a few times since. Her official description suggests she may become playable soon.
2. Augusta
“The undying sun eternally ablaze”
Augusta is a newly revealed character that appears in the latestWuthering Waves 2.4trailer. She is the red-haired character who announces the beginning of the Agon tournament of Septimont and is expected to be a key character in the narrative. Augusta’s character design sees her wearing a gladiator-like white and golden colored outfit, with a sun-themed motif adorning her head.
“Moon Arrow that anchors shifts of fate”
Iuno is another character that has been showcased alongside Augusta in the latest trailer. While the latter’s design seems to be inspired by the sun, Iuno’s character seems to be based on the moon. She features dark blue and is also clad in a white and golden outfit. Based on her official description, she seems likely to somehow influence the fate of the protagonist.
4. Qiuyuan
“The lone wayfaring swordsman”
Qiuyuan is an entirely new character, and this is the first time he has been teased by Kuro Games. Based on his name and design, it appears he may be a Swordsman from Jinzhou. His character design features him sporting a ponytail with lush black hair. He is also wearing a black and white tattered outfit with green and golden accents.
“Incisor of the strings of annihilation”
Like the previous entry, this is the first peek at Chisa. She is a black-haired girl sporting a grey/navy blue outfit with red accents. Additionally, she seems to be wielding a Broadblade in her official artwork, suggesting that it may be her preferred weapon.
6. Galbrena
“Devil ever bathed in purifying flames”
Galbrena is the sixth and final resonator teased during theWuWa 2.4 livestream. She has been referred to as a ‘devil’ in her description, suggesting that she may have a rough personality. Her character design showcases her with white hair and a black and blue outfit with golden accents. She also seems to be holding a Pistol in the artwork, which may be a hint towards her weapon.
