In a 2018 interview with Entertainment Weekly, Winona Ryder said that the wedding scene inBram Stoker’s Draculawas actually real. This meant that she and Reeves were married on the sets of the film. As per Ryder:
“We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to god I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”
Even Francis Ford Coppola was asked about this by The Guardian in 2018 and he backed up Ryder’s claims. The acclaimed director said,“In a sense when we were all done, we realized that Keanu and Winona really are married as a result of this scene and this ceremony.”But what does the husband Keanu Reeves think about this?

Keanu Reeves Clarifies Winona Ryder Wedding Rumors
Keanu Reeves was asked in an interview with Esquire aboutWinona Ryder’sclaims that she was married to him. The actor said,“We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are, Coppola says we are. So I guess we are married under the eyes of God,”This isn’t the first time the actor has confirmed the marriage rumors.
