IShowSpeed was briefly mentioned by fellow YouTuber MrBeast during his collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo.
YouTube star Darren “IShowSpeed” has had quite a journey in his YouTube career so far. The streamer is notably quite popular in the football (soccer) community due to his close association with several football stars. Those who have followed Speed will know that the streamer is a big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo. The streamer was recently mentioned in Ronaldo’s YouTube channel, UR Ronaldo.
For context, fellow YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” was invited to join Ronaldo’s podcast. During their conversation, MrBeast suggested Ronaldo collaborate with other creators. One of the names he suggested was IShowSpeed. He said:
“You should have Tom Brady popping in for a video, Speed, you should have all these big names.”

Hearing his name pop up in the podcast and Ronaldo’s welcoming reaction, Speed was left in a state of awe. A jubilant Speed reacted by stating:
“Cristiano Ronaldo put me in his video. That’s what y’all meant. Ronaldo put me in his video. Ronaldo edited me (referring to the post-edit which shows a face of Speed) in the f**king video. Spam up the Ws in the chat! I thought MrBeast was just talking about me but he (Ronaldo) put me in the video. W MrBeast too.”
Speaking about a possible collaboration, the YouTuber said:
“Ronaldo, the whole world wants it. Damn, I’m smiling too much. I’m grinning too much. But hey, we waiting on it (collaboration). He said, ‘Good to know.’ Yo, Ronaldo, come on! let’s get it in.”

When Did IShowSpeed Meet Cristiano Ronaldo
While a collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo has yet to materialize, IShowSpeed has already had the chance to meet his idol. This encountertook place in July 2023, following Portugal’s friendly match, where the streamer patiently waited in the parking lot to meet him.
Fortunately for him, Rafael Leao, the AC Milan star and Portuguese forward, who had previously interacted with IShowSpeed on stream, played a key role in making the meeting happen. Leao helped stop Ronaldo’s car, leading to the much-anticipated encounter. Watch their encounter here:
