Although the debuffing build seeks to create a veteran uma focused on accumulating red skills, she still needs to place well in races. If even one of your umas places below 5th in a Team Trials race, it leads to an overall loss of score for the entire team. To ensure that this does not happen, the debuffing uma should have solid base stats with a few non-debuffing skills to make up for any deficiencies.
Mediumand Long-distance events are ideal for debuffers. They can make a dent in opponents’ health with stamina-draining skills before reducing their velocity on the critical final corner. Here are the stats to aim for in either event:
Running Style
Late Surger is the best running style for training a debuffing character. Several red skills target runners ahead, and Late Surgers are well-positioned to use them. Additionally, the running style has the most efficient stamina-to-health conversion rate, advantageous for Medium and Long distance races.
