In an interview withElle, theTop Gun: Maverickactor detailed his journey from how he took the help of an African guide. Stating how Keleigh Sperry thought that someone died beforeMiles Tellerpulled out the ring, the actor narrated the hilarious tale.
“I had our guide, early in the morning, tie a rose to a tree… [We] walked up to this nice scenic vista having coffee. She looked over and saw a rose and thought somebody had died. Which, whatever.”
He further continued,
“I said, ‘This is the day you became my girlfriend, and today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend.’”
After the proposal in 2017, the couple married in a private ceremony in Maui, Hawaii back in 2019, and have been happily married ever since.

In a 2019 interview withVogue, theWar Dogsactor opened up about his marriage with Keleigh Sperry and the certainty that she was the one. Talking about how she had caught Teller’s eye during that concert, the actor asserted that he knew she was the one after meeting her!
“Keleigh had caught my eye early in the night, and we talked. I didn’t think it went well, but after a few more attempts, I got her to dance with me, and a week later, we went on a date. After we met, I knew she was the one,”
The couple recently celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary in Bora Bora as celebrities and fans around the world congratulated them for their love. Miles Teller is currently attached toThe Ark and the Aardvarkby lending his voice to the character of Gilbert. The movie is slated for a release date of 13 June 2025.
