PS Plus adds new free PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games every month and also removes some titles from availability once in a while. The new PlayStation Plus titles for this month have been added today and now some titles in the PS Plus Extra and Premium tier will be leaving the subscription service in December 2023.

11 Games Are Leaving PS Plus Extra on December 19
Notably the twoYazukatitles,Yakuza 6: The Song of LifeandYakuza: Like a Dragonare leaving PS Plus Extra a month before the next title in the franchiseLike a Dragon: Infinite Wealthwill be released on July 16, 2025. These are all the 11 games leaving the service:
It is important to know that once all these titles leave the service, players will need to buy them from the PlayStation Store if they want to continue playing. TheMiddle Earthtitles,Middle-Earth: Shadow of MordorandMiddle-Earth: Shadow of Warfrom Monolith Productions have been well received by fans and critics alike, but they will unfortunately be leaving the service.

Another title leaving the service,Friday the 13th: The Gamehad a great following upon launch, but it was already known to exit the service as it is getting delisted on June 09, 2025, and will no longer be available for players to buy either physically or digitally. The servers of the game will be available until July 04, 2025, even after it is delisted so players interested in playing can play it till then.
Other notable titles includeForeclosedandThe Escapists 2.Foreclosedis an indie title featuring comic book-like graphics and shooter gameplay which impressed players a lot.The Escapists 2, the strategy RPG title was appreciated for its hilarious and sandbox strategy experience. However, PlayStation Plus is making up for the loss of these titles as new games are available for players to claim.

Along with new titles on the PS Plus Premium tier, new game trials have also been added for a few titles including critically acclaimedBaldur’s Gate 3and Daedalic Entertainment’sThe Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Two two-hour trials have also been added forTerraformersandRide 5and a 3-hour trial has been added for Frontier Developments’F1 Manager 2023.
