It didn’t take long for Sandra Bullock and Daniel Radcliffe to become close friends after they joined forces together inThe Lost City. Even though Bullock initially assumed Radcliffe would be an“entitled child actor who’s grown into an adult”,the actress admitted she was wrong, as the British Star eventually grew on her.
But the filming process forThe Lost Citywas pretty weird at times, especially forMiss CongenialityStar, which even stunned theHarry Potteralum. And reflecting on the matter, Daniel Radcliffe claimed it was one of the most surreal things he witnessed in his career.

Daniel Radcliffe Recounts Sandra Bullock Getting Pelted With Nuts and Brie
Witnessing one of the most celebrated actors of our time being pelted with almonds and cheese was extremely bizarre to theHarry PotterStar.Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the villainous role of Abigail Fairfax, recounted the making of the hilarious scene, whereSandra Bullockfound herself in the middle of a meat and cheese vortex. Radcliffe stated,
“The special effects guys brought in two fans from outside. They looked at us very happily and were like, ‘we’re normally never allowed to use these inside.’ And then [they] just destroyed the set with it, but this led to a close-up of the most surreal thing I’ve maybe ever seen.”
In the case of the close-up scene, instead of using the fans as they did for the previous shots, around half-a-dozen people were hurling “nuts and brie”at Bullock manually.
But unfortunately for Sandra Bullock, this wasn’t the only uncomfortable scene she had to partake in, as on her second day filming, she had to remove leeches from Channing Tatum’s n-ked body.

Sandra Bullock Had No Problem Plucking Out Leeches From Channing Tatum’s N-ked Body
Although Sandra Bullock initially had her doubts about plucking out artificial leeches from Channing Tatum’s n-ked body, things turned out pretty well all things considered. Even though it took a sizeable amount of takes to get the perfect end-product, as Tatum can’t help but laugh during the takes, Bullock felt extremely comfortable with Tatum, as he was extremely chill. Bullock said,
“You have to really like the person and feel safe with them. There was no weirdness. You’d think there would be weirdness, but because he was so chill about it, he dropped everything, and I spoke to it.”

But despite encountering some strange moments during the filming process, the Star-studded cast of Daniel Radcliffe, Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, and Brad Pitt went along pretty well. And considering the movie was filmed during the pandemic, it helped them bond well, and the end product did succeed in pulling decent numbers at the box office.
