The Konoha village from Hidden Leaf inNarutois known for the versatility and vast number of clans that represents Konohagakure all over the world. The village consists of 17 different clans and almost has 80,000 people. These clans are differentiated according to their abilities and their cultures.

Aburame clan

From Uchiha to Uzumaki, every clan has their own uniqueness that separates them from the others. Among these clans the most nauseating clan is the Aburame clan, who carry insects within their bodies in order to use them during difficult situations or battles.

However, one theory suggests that Aburame clan may not belong to Konoha clan altogether. Instead they maybe a member of Iwagakure. Many fans may have not noticed the connection but their is a strong one that explains a lot of things about Iwagakure’s first Tsuchikage and Aburame clan’s connection.

The Aburame Clan inNaruto

Konohagakure has four noble clans, one of which is the Aburame Clan. The Aburame clan offers their bodies at birth to various breeds of insects as nests for them to reside in. From that moment onward, these insects will coexist harmoniously with their host. The host’s body has multiple pores through which the insects can exit and enter.

Additionally, when on missions, the clan members might bring extra insects in jars or gourds. Their deadly nature stems from the fact that they consume chakra as food. Their capacity for communication with other insects and bugs has also been demonstrated.

The First Tsuchikage, Ishikawa

The shinobi have a mutually beneficial relationship with the insects. This ability of the Aburame clan is quite similar to the first Tsuchikage from Iwagakure, which had led many fans to believe that maybe the Aburame clan might belong from Iwagakure as the descendents of the first Tsuchikage.

Theory States That Aburame Clan Might Be From Iwagakure

The First Tsuchikage, Ishikawa, established Iwagakure in the Land of Earth. He was identified as a Kamizuru Clan member in the anime. It was hinted in the anime that he employed insect-based ninjutsu in his fighting technique.

Ishikawa amassed a collection of sacred scrolls that included his bug-tamer arts’ trade secrets, which he once kept hidden from even his own clan. It sounds exactly like the Aburame Clan’s ability.

This could indicate one of two things: either the first tsuchikage was an aburame ancestor, or the aburame clan were traitors who stole the abilities of the first tsuchikage. As he was the Tsuchikage of the entire village, him belonging to another clan would not be plausible. Therefore the fitting probability is Aburame clan were descendents of Ishikawa and they came to Konoha early on in the series.
