Discover how to get, all of the locations to farm, how to craft and how to use Energy Activators in The First Descendant.
What Are Energy Activators in The First Descendant?
In the First Descendant Energy Activators are one-time use items you can use to increase the Maximum Module Capacity of either a Descendant or a weapon. Using an Energy Activator on a Descendant will increase their module capacity by 20. Additionally, using an Energy Activator on a weapon will increase its module capacity by 30.
Furthermore, Energy Activators are typically mid-game level enhancement materials. If you have just started playing the game, then they are not something that you should be concerned about farming for yet. Moreover, when you reach the maximum level of 40 with your first Descendant, you will receive one Energy Activator for free from the Descendant Instructor droid in the ‘Complete Energy Activator’ side quest. This side quest will generate automatically once you hit level 40, and you can find it by checking your journal.

How to Get Energy Activators in The First Descendant
To get Energy Activators in The First Descendant, you will either need to buy them from the store with the premium currency Caliber or gather all the necessary materials to craft them. Furthermore, if you choose to purchase them from the store, They will cost 1,200 Caliber each.
To collect all of the materials necessary to craft Energy Activators in the first Descendant, there are numerous locations where the five different resources drop. you may check each resource and discover the multiple places you can farm them by using the Access Info menu. To keep things simple, we’ll be listing each of the five materials and the best location to farm each.
Low-Carbon Activator
The first material you need to collect is Low-Carbon Activators. Moreover, choosing a spot to farm this resource is simple because there is only one. However, you should be aware that the Vulgus Strategic Outpost mission in The Fallen Theater of Kingston has a refresh timer on it. Therefore, you can only attempt it once every 5 minutes.
You can avoid this timer by changing the world setting to a Private instance. Once you enter The Fallen Theater area and complete the mission, then port over to another area of Kingston across the map. Next, go back to The Fallen Theater, and hopefully, the timer will have reset, or at least dropped a significant amount.

Additionally, if you haveSharen, you’re able to use her Active Camouflage ability to infiltrate the outpost and hack the three consoles. This will still summon the mission monster you must defeat. However, successfully doing this will give you a chance for additional loot. If you need help extending the duration of her camouflage ability, try equipping her with the Maximize Duration or Skill Extension modules.
Best location to find Low-Carbon Activator in The First Descendant:
Conductive Metallic Foil
The best way to find Conductive Metallic Foil for crafting Energy Activators in The First Descendant is by using the characterEnzo, whose passive ability, Shoot Support, gives him a better chance at unlocking Encrypted Vaults for increased rewards. However, recent changes to the game have added additional missions which can also drop the Conductive Metallic Foil resource.
If you’re usingEnzo, then the best location is in the Timberfall area of the Vespers zone. Use the Timberfall Tactical Transporter teleport to the north and look for one of two Encrypted Vaults in the extended area of the map that loops around off the southwestern portion of the map.

With any other Descendant, the best place to farm for Conductive Metallic Foil is by running various Vespers missions, including the Ruins Underground Entrance battlefield mission. This mission can be found in The Ruins area, and the materials have the potential to drop from any defeated enemy. However, they drop at a much smaller rate than Enzo can find at one time when breaking open a vault.

Heat Plasma Battery
The Heat Plasma Battery for crafting Energy Activators in The First Descendant can be found by defeating mission monsters in the Hagios zone’s operation dungeon called Old Mystery. Furthermore, the Heat Plasma Battery will only drop from elite enemies and not the normal vulgus. Look for enemies with yellow names and HP bars above their heads.
If you’re just specifically farming Heat Plasma Battery, the best way to do this is by going into the operation in Private mode. Run through all of the regular mobs until you reach a room where you must destroy 6 Kuiper orbs to advance. This is the first area where you will find the elite mobs. Kill the elite enemies and then wait for the timer to run out so that you fail the mission. Exit the operation, port back in, rinse, and repeat.
However, if you wish to farm other materials and items, you may run either the Old Mystery or The Haven operations fairly quickly with a group.

Polyatomic Ion Particle
The two best locations to find the Polyatomic Ion Particle for crafting Energy Activators in The First Descendant are both in the Frozen Valley area of the Fortress zone. In fact, they are both right next to each other. Therefore, you can choose to focus on one or switch back and forth between the two if you are looking for some gameplay variety. Again, the Polyatomic Ion Particle will not drop from regular enemies, but only from the elite Vulgus.

Energy Activator Blueprint
Unfortunately, getting the Energy Activator Blueprints will be one of the more difficult grinds in The First Descendant because you have to grind two separate things. First, you need to collect an Amorphous Material Pattern that corresponds with the Colossus boss you wish to try farming the blueprint from. We recommend running the Kingston zone Magister’s Lab operation dungeon on either Normal or Hard.
If you run Magister’s Lab on Hard, you have a chance to collect Amorphous Material Pattern: 057. Then, you need to enter and defeat the Void Intercept Battle: Executioner on Hard. Afterward, using the Amorphous Material Pattern: 057, gives you a 6% potential drop rate on the Energy Activator Blueprint.
Furthermore, if you run Magister’s Lab on Normal, you have a chance to collect Amorphous Material Pattern: 002. Then, you need to enter and defeat the Void Intercept Battle: Gravewalker on Normal. Afterward, using the Amorphous Material Pattern: 002, gives you a 3% potential drop rate on the Energy Activator Blueprint.
