Fans were elated to see Boba Fett return to the Star Wars universe in Season 2 ofDisney‘sThe Mandalorian. We were thefirst to break the newsof a Boba Fett soloDisney+series. And now we’re the first to break two Star Wars characters returning in the upcomingThe Book of Boba Fett, as well as some plot details.

The Book of Boba Fett Plot Details
Last we saw Boba Fett, he helped Mando get Baby Yoda aka Grogu to Luke Skywalker, to train with the Jedi and learn the ways of the force. Then, Boba and Ming-Na Wen’s Fennec, went back to Tatooine, to take over Jabba’s Palace and claim his throne.

The Book of Boba Fettseries, while a spin-off ofThe Mandalorian, was expected to show us what happened to Boba Fett prior to the series, and where he’d be off to next. Well, we’ve learned that while the show will in fact start with that fateful Sarlacc pit and Boba’s escape. The spin-off series will quickly turn back into season 2.5 ofThe Mandalorian. So much so, that two fan-favorite characters will be returning.
Returning Star Wars Characters
Our sources within Lucasfilm have confirmed that Din Djarin will be a part ofThe Book of Boba Fett(first reported byCinelinx) and that Grogu will also appear.
It seems both the characters inside the show, as well as the powers that be at Disney know how important Mando and Baby Yoda are. They were reportedly worried about letting Boba do his own thing for too long.

Both The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda were on set for multiple episodes at the end of the series, and we’re told it wasn’t just for some flashback scenes.The Book of Boba Fettwill answer where Grogu went, and share some of his Jedi training.
