After calling off her engagement with Ben Affleck in the early 2000s,Jennifer Lopezmarried her third ex-husbandMarc Anthonyin 2004. The duo even welcomed twins Emme and Max after four years of their marriage. However, their sweet happy family bubble couldn’t hold for much long as they ended their marriage in 2014. Though they called it quits three years earlier. Around the same time, the actress in an interview withVanity Fairexplained the reason why she felt that he was not the one for her.
“Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself – if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me . . . I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”
This was a huge step that affected her to the core since it not only involved the former couple but their kids and families. However, she knew that the duo would not be good for each other since their relationship was only tarnished with time. However, she eventually mended the space in their relationship by collaborating with him.

After the split, she had to fill in the holes that their marriage and divorce eventually made up with time. For that, she chose to collaborate with her ex-husband to release her second Spanish album. Fortunately, that time helped them to mend their bond as she told Billboard,
“It actually kind of repaired certain parts of our relationship that had been fractured from our marriage and our divorce and it kind of made us friends again.”
Things worked out in the end with the duo now sharing a good bond with one another. Both of them have moved on in their life with Anthony marrying former Miss Universe Paraguay winner Nadia Ferreira. As for Lopez, she rekindled her romance with Batman actor, Ben Affleck with the duo getting married last year.
