Sylvester Stallone decided to leave his most beloved franchise due to creative difference

Despite being a constant in all theRockyandCreedmovies, which he has helped in crafting since the franchise’s inception,Sylvester Stallonedidn’t return for the latest installment of theCreedfranchise. Even though the franchise has a very special part in Stallone’s heart, the direction that the new movie was going for wasn’t his cup of tea. Apart from his beef with Irwin Winkler, Stallone wasn’t sold on the idea of the hero going into a dark path and decided to back away from the movie. He said,

“It’s a different philosophy — [producer] Irwin Winkler’s and Michael B. Jordan’s. I wish them well, but I’m much more of a sentimentalist. I like my heroes getting beat up, but I just don’t want them going into that dark space. I just feel people have enough darkness.”
