Actor John Krasinski is indeed fortunate to have Carell as a friend. The two actors have starred together in renowned television seriesThe Officeand since have been close friends. During an interview, Krasinski reflected on how fatherhood changed his entire life.

During a conversation withLarry Kingon his show, John Krasinski shared the profound words of hisThe Officeco-star and long-time friend Steve Carrell on fatherhood. Krasinski recalled that when he asked Carrell about parenthood, he explained it in a very wholesome manner. Krasinski said,

“I still think to this day he’s described it perfectly. I said, ‘What’s it like before and after kids?’ He said, ‘There’s no way to combine the two. It’s like you have the favorite book that you read over and over and over and over. And then one day you put that book down and you start a new book that’s your favorite book, and you may’t stop reading it.’”

Krasinski also reflected on his opinion on fatherhood. The father of two daughters talked about how fatherhood changed him at the Sundance Film Festival. He said,

“When you go through that existential crack that everybody goes through in a different way, but it is a moment and it is the moment that changes you in an enormous way. It’s the mirror being held up to you whether you like it or not.”

Krasinski is married to actress Emily Blunt with whom he shares two daughters: Hazel and Violet.
