Gamers got early access toStarfieldat the beginning of this month, and players in the few days since, players have already put in a substantial number of hours in the game. As with many major games recently there are players who tend to rush through the gameplay to complete the campaign as soon as they can, before they delve into any available side quests. One of the reasons gamers tend to rush through their campaign is to replay the games in the “New Game+” mode. This is a mode that’s prevalent with most major games where the campaign is repeated in the highest difficulty mode.

StarfieldHas A New Game Plus Mode

Few gamers have already sped throughStarfield‘s main campaign to play the New Game+ mode and their views are quite mixed. The game as already impressed gamers with the expansive universe with fans claiming the game has a lot to offer with nearly endless opportunities while it’s also being critiqued for the campaign being quite slow with a lackluster experience.

This has led many to also claim the game is best experienced after the main quest is completed. Greg Miller, CEO of the entertainment portal, Kinda Funny has also chimed in with his thoughts on the debate by giving a plausible solution on whether or not to rush through to playStarfieldNew Game+ mode.

Miller says while the New Game+ mode has its share of surprises, players should still play the main campaign for the first time at a pace that suits them the most. Miller goes on to explain that while traditionally, a Bethesda game tends to be played alongside all the side quests, players should rather focus on the main campaign and then take on the side quests later on, as that’s what Miller mentioned he did. He also mentioned he has spent close to 55 hours so far in the game, citing the campaign isn’t as lengthy as earlier predicted.

As he mentions above, while there are new elements being introduced, they don’t entirely improve the overall experience of the main campaign. All of these suggest that it might just be a good idea to stray away from the side quests when players go through the campaign for the first time, and best keep them for the New Game+ mode to really explore every nook and corner of what the game has to offer.
