Though there has been no official confirmation regardingSpider-Man 4release date. It is safe to assume that the movie will be released somewhere in mid-2024 as a part of MCU phase 5. There have been several confirmations from Marvel regarding the upcomingSpider-Manmovie yet no potential release date was hinted at in the same. The fact that Marvel already has major releases set in the slot of phase 5 can not be ignored includingCaptain America: New World OrderandThunderboltsin May and July of 2024 respectively. With major Marvel films who have already booked their slots in the upcoming movies list. Making space for another movie in between will be quite hectic.

Spider-Man 4Doesn’t want to Clash withAvatar 3
Earlier reports hinted thatSpider-Man 4would be released in late 2024 but the very fact thatAvatar 3has already been announced to release on August 22, 2025, has hindered Spidey’s movie release.Avatarseries has proved itself as a titan for the big screen and the popularity surrounding the series ever since its comeback after a decade of dormancy is on the next level. Clashing with the upcomingAvatarmovie may prove to be fatal even for our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man’s box office collection.

Hardly surprising, Disney (and Sony for Spider-Man) aren’t going to let two of their own movies compete and affect eachother’s box offices, when they can milk both by releasing them months apart

And just as fans claim, Disney would avoid two of its studios’ movies clashing, if one might take a hit at the box office. Especially, when both movies can be successful and bring in big bucks.
