1. Control Multiple Galaxy Devices
Ever been in a situation where you wanted to control your Galaxy phone or tablet from your laptop? With the Galaxy Book, you can do just that. You can seamlessly:
Multi Control makes all of it possible. Just verify to update to the latest version of the OS, and enable Bluetooth on devices where you want to use Multi Control, all devices must be logged in to the same Samsung account, and connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Go toSettings>Connected devices>Multi controlor search forMulti Controlin theSettingsapp on all your Galaxy devices and enable it.
For example, say you’re working on your laptop and need to use a screenshot from your Galaxy phone. you’re able to drag the image from your phone to your Galaxy Book, and thefile is transferredwithout even touching your phone.

2. Copy and Paste Text, Images, PDFs, and Other Files
Do you have some docs on your phone you need on your laptop? Normally, you’d useQuick Shareor a cable. But with the Galaxy ecosystem, you can copy and paste files from your phone to your Galaxy Book and vice versa (just like Apple). Just keep in mind that bigger files might take time to transfer depending on file size.
3. Samsung Notes
Samsung Notesusers will find this one helpful. The app is great for note-taking, but there’s no web version available, unfortunately, and the Microsoft Store version is exclusive to Samsung laptops. If you don’t want the hassle of moving all your notes to a different app, then Galaxy Book becomes your only choice. Notes are synced via Samsung Cloud.
4. Auto Switch Buds
One of the perks of having Galaxy Buds is that they automatically switch between your Samsung devices. This is made possible using the Auto Switch feature which is enabled by default in the Settings app.
Let’s say you’re watching a video on your Galaxy Book, and then you get acall on your Galaxy phone– the audio will instantly switch to your phone. No manual switching is needed. And once you are done and hang up, Buds will reconnect to the laptop.
5. Expand Your Laptop’s Display
Lastly, you may use your Galaxy Tab as a second screen for your Galaxy Book. To do that, head toSamsung Settings > Connected deviceson your laptop and selectSecond screen. You can then choose your Galaxy Tab. If it doesn’t show up, tap on Second screen from your tablet’s notification bar.
This setup works just like connecting a regular monitor. You can rearrange the display, choose how you want to use the extra screen and tweak the resolution.
You can also use yourAndroid phone as a second monitorusing an app.
Final Thoughts on Galaxy Book and Phone Ecosystem
There are some Galaxy Book features I didn’t mention features such as auto hotspot, making calls from your PC, reading messages, viewing photos, orSamsung DeX, because these can easily be done on any Windows laptop using the Phone Link app. You don’t need a Galaxy Book for them. But if you want to dive into the Samsung ecosystem, features like Multi Control, clipboard sync, and using a tablet as a second screen, Galaxy Book works seamlessly. I experienced no lags or connectivity issues whatsoever.
