And now, this demand has led him to be scouted for an upcoming historical drama film, titledNuremberg,which is all set to go into production soon.

Along with Primetime Emmy Award winner Rami Malek being part of the upcoming project set after the end of the Second World War, the star is also set to be working alongside Michael Shannon, who he had also worked with in their DCEU filmMan of Steelcreated by filmmaker Zack Snyder.

After his recent appearance in the horror/drama filmThe Pope’s Exorcist,Academy Award-winning starRussell Crowehas been scouted out by veteran writer and producerJames Vanderbilt for his upcoming post-war filmNuremberg. The film is set to feature him playing the role of a Nazi general in this upcoming historical epic.
Along with him is another set of talented stars to take center stage like Rami Malek and hisMan of Steelco-starMichael Shannon.

In the latest report byDeadline, it was revealed that the upcoming project would be taking theLes Misérablesstar on a journey into post-war Germany, where he would be playing the role of Hermann Göring, who was the right-hand man of Adolf Hitler himself. At the same time, Malek is set to play the role of an American psychiatrist namedDouglas Kelley.
Both Malek and Crowe will be joined by Shannon, who is set to play the role ofSupreme CourtJusticeRobert H. Jackson in the film. While a whole lot more is not known at the moment about the upcoming film, it’s being reported that Bluestone Entertainment,Walden Media, and Széchenyi Funds acquired the rights to El-Hai’s book along with the producer’s script, which makes them the production houses supporting this project financially.

The film is all set to adaptJack El Hai’s bookTheNaziand the Psychiatristand is set to tell the tale of an American Psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, who was tasked with clinically assessing the Nazis after the end of the Second World War to stand their War Crime Trials in Nuremberg, Germany. Here, Kelly comes face to face with Hitler’s right-hand man Hermann Göring in an intense battle of wits.
