A lot of news has been released for fans ofPUBG: BattlegroundsandStreet Fighteras a new crossover has been announced forPUBG, as they are releasing a Survivor Summerfest update which will be bringing a lot of new content forPUBGgamers to enjoy with new character skins, new game modes and special in-game events that can even win some gamers real-life rewards!

What will be coming in this PUBG Survivor Summerfest update?

During this new event that is being released inPUBG, there are many modes and rewards that can be earned by players that can be both accessed in-game and in the real world; some of these rewards will be character skins of popular characters fromStreet Fighter 6like Chun-Li, Ryu, Luke and Cammy. ManyStreet Fighterfans will be excited to be playing as their favouriteStreet Fightercharacters, and these skins will be purchasable from July 26th till September 20th.

During this update, there will be many different events for players to take part in and not just in the game itself, as there will be an event on the Summer Mission Event Hub Website, which is where players can gain access to missions that they need to complete in-game to earn Summer Stamps. These stamps will be used as an opportunity to be selected to receive certain rewards like a new Summer-Themed Nameplate, In-Game currency known as G-Coin and even a high-end gaming PC, but there is only a chance to be chosen to receive these rewards.

Many fans ofPUBGwill be happy to hear that there will be some new game modes coming with this new update which will be accessible in an overhauled Arcade mode, and will have some brand new activities for players to enjoy over the summer period. In this overhauled Arcade mode, there will already be some specialised modes involved, such as Intense Battle Royale, Team Deathmatch and a brand new mode called Bluebomb Rush.

In this new Arcade Mode, there will also be a LABS mode which will feature both new and old game modes, which will be used to help test these modes by using PUBG Community feedback to try and help the devs ensure that these modes work well and are enjoyed. Alongside this, there will also be an inclusion of Arcade points which once accumulated, can be used to purchase unique in-game rewards, which should help to incentivise gamers to give these new modes a try.

That isn’t all, as there will also be some special drop events that will take place over the Summer period, which will give players a chance to game some interesting rewards over the Summer period; this will take place through a few special events like Summer Splash Bingo, Check-In rewards and a special Street Fight Battle event where players will duke it out with their fists rather than guns, earning themselves some unique rewards like emotes, contraband coupons and aStreet Fighter 6themed helmet.
