However, this achievement has left fans puzzled as they believe another name deserved the award more. Fans have mentioned Bradley Cooper as their choice for the award.

PETA has named DC Studios co-CEO,James Gunnas the Person of the Year in light of his spectacular contribution to the Marvel Studios’ hit movie,Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.The organization took toInstagramto honor the director by writing,

“He uses his storytelling skills to expose the horrors of animal experimentation to millions of people, fiercely promotes adoption in his own life, & so much more. We’re proud to recognize James Gunn as this year’s biggest superhero for animals.”

Not only did they honor him, but also appreciated the work he did in the MCU movie.

The actor is well known for his kind deeds including the 2018 buzz when he cast his own dog, Charlie in his movie,A Star Is Born. This movie led PETA to bestow him an “Oscat” for promoting kindness to animals through positive actions, storylines, and CGI.

He is widely recognized for voicing Rocket Raccoon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. The character left audiences spellbound once again after James Gunn’s last MCU movie delved deep into his origin story that unfolded the tragic events he went through to become the Rocket we know today.
