Sylvester Stallone, the man known for creating theRockyfranchise from scratch has become a stranger to his own universe. After issues with the rights of the character which he essentially created, Stallone has nothing but contempt for anything that follows.

A recent spin-off has been announced from theCreeduniverse which will be based on the character of Viktor Drago. Stallone, being Stallone, posted a lot of abuses on Twitter to curse at the producer of the film since he was not aware of the spin-off and was not a part of the cinematic universe.

Sylvester Stallone’s Rant on The Drago Spin-off

After what had been a tumultuous time forSylvester Stallone, the issue of character rights finally exploded into an outright rift between the owner and Stallone. Although Stallone created the characters of theRockyfranchise and its subsequentCreedfranchise, the legal owner of these characters is the producer of the franchise.

Viktor Drago is an integral character in the franchise ofCreed.Portrayed by Florian Munteanu inCreed III,people loved his character so much that a spin-off was essentially created for the fans and to further the franchise beyond its horizons.

As it was announced, Sylvester Stallone felt the pain and anger get to him since he wasn’t made aware of the spin-off. Being the creator of the character, Stallone went on to his social media to rant about the owner of the franchise and how he felt left out of the whole deal.

The actor has been quite vocal about wanting to get back his characters from the owner and has been writing some pretty aggressive words about it on his social media posts. The spin-off isn’t all good as it sounds as Dolph Lundgren, who was a good friend to Stallone, was also accused of backstabbing the actor which he outrightly denied.

With the Drago spin-off being just a mere idea, there has been nothing confirmed regarding the scripts or the actors. As for Stallone, the actor will be seen in the upcomingThe Expendables 4movie.
