Within Bahari Bay, there are specific spots where your chances are better.
Flooded Fortress Area
If you head just south after stepping into Bahari Bay, you will come across theFlooded Fortress. The area contains several large trees with orange-red leaves — these are theSapwood Treesyou are looking for.
Only these trees drop Juniper Seeds, and not all of them do. So you may need to chop down more than one. Make sure your axe is strong enough. TheStandard Axeis the lowest tier that works here. If you are still using the Makeshift Axe, you won’t be able to cut down the Sapwood Trees.
Proudhorn Pass Zone
This location is further east than where you first entered Bahari Bay. As you move toward Proudhorn Pass, start checking the fields just north of it. Sapwood Trees tend to appear near the windmill and a small mountain in that region. You might not spot them immediately, but a little exploration pays off.
Again, you will need your upgraded axe for this part. Without it, the trip may not be worth it.
