It’s one thing to make the perfect sequel, but making a successful threequel is an entirely different ball game and an uphill battle that Hollywood, for the most part, fails to win.The Matrix Revolutionsfell prey to the threequel curse,Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerwas yet another fallen soldier despite the very handsome billion-dollar figure it made at the box office, and the list goes on and on.
