This Wednesday, Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in the MCU, began his trial in New York regarding misdemeanor assault and harassment charges linked to a March altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In March,Jonathan Majorsfaced assault charges after a reported altercation with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. His legal team’s attempts to dismiss the case failed, as they publicly defended Majors, alleging Jabbari’s aggression. Majors later filed a counter-complaint, but charges against Jabbari were also dropped by the Manhattan district attorney’s office.
His defense Lawyer, in a statement (viaCBS) immediately after the news of his arrest was made public, stated,
“Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested.”
Majors faced charges of misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, attempted assault, and harassment. In April, a judge also granted Jabbari a comprehensive temporary order of protection against Majors. Now that the court trial has begun, a definitive solution could be reached, while fans desperately hope they get their Kang back.

Majors has pleaded not guilty, and if found guilty, he could face a prison term of up to a year. As the actor entered the courtroom to begin his trial, fans on X, in the wake of the news, started chants in support of him.
