The NYVCC Will Officially Recognize Neil Druckmann as an Industry Legend
Harold Goldberg, president and founder of the New York Videogame Critics Circle, put into words the collective sentiment towards Neil’s incomparable contributions to the video game industry:

Now, that’s certainly worth celebrating. Previously, industry legends like Hideo Kojima, Phil Spencer, and Reggie Fils-Aimé have won an award.
According to the website, the Andrew Yoon Legend Award belongs to those who pioneer important bodies of work that showcase exceptional artistic innovation and achievement. It is named after the founding member of the New York Game Critics Circle.

The New York Game Awards hosts this event annually and is produced by the nonprofit the New York Game Critics Circle in hopes of recognizing outstanding work in the field of video games. The first awards ceremony was held in 2012, and the New York Game Critics Circle envisions education that’s promoted within the different worlds of video game journalism and writing within the New York City hemisphere.
