Iman Vellani has been MCU’s sweetheart since her debut inMs. Marveland her recent appearance as one of the leading stars inThe Marvels. But beyond her cinematic presence, Vellani rose to prominence for being a comic-book nerd.
Vellani has been a huge Marvel Comics fan and she almost watched the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, despite being a fan of X-Men, Vellani refused to watchDark Phoenix. She must have her reasons but many fans are unhappy with her remark.

Iman Vellani Will Never WatchDark Phoenix
Simon Kinberg’s 2019X-MenmovieDark Phoenixhas never seen the beam of box office marvel. The movie grossed around $252 million at the global box office against the production budget of $200 million.Dark Phoenixlost an estimated $133 million after marketing and distribution costs. Appearing on theNew Rockstars’Podcast,Iman Vellanirevealed that she refuses to watch theSophie Turnermovie while discussing theX-MenUniverse.
“I don’t know uh any X-Men universe is fine, that’s not true I was going to say any X-Men universe is fine with me but I still refuse to watch Dark Phoenix,”Vellani said.
The reason for Vellani’s refusal to watch the movie could be due to the movie’s shattering records of being at the bottom.Dark Phoenixis one of the lowest-grossingX-Menmovies. Also, the movie only scored 22% on Rotten Tomatoes and maybe the stats are not impressive enough for Vellani to convince herself to watch the movie.

Fans Troll Iman Vellani For Her Remarks onDark Phoenix
Following Vellani’s remark onDark Phoenix,X-Menfans came forward to defend the 2019 movie while trollingThe Marvelsstar. Many fans refer toThe Marvelsand the movie’s poor box office run. Now, fans took to X to troll the 21-year-old for her remarks on theX-Menmovie.
