The Judge Issued Two Rulings Prior to the Opening Statements of Jonathan Majors’ Trial
On October 25, Grace Jabbari was briefly arrested at a New York City police station and was charged with misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief. However, the charges were swiftly dropped, and the matter became“closed and sealed,”as it lacked“prosecutorial merit”per the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. Per Michael Gaffey’s first ruling, the Jury will get to hear evidence regarding the brief arrest of Jabbari as the Jury will assess the allegations againstJonathan Majors, reportedDeadline.
The second ruling issued by the Judge was about the evidence on the case that was under seal. The sealed documents, which were termed“prejudicial and inflammatory”by the judge, are said to reportedly contain information about the actor’s past incidents, not only in the US but also in the UK.
