In their latest stream, Warhorse Studios showcased the upcoming Hardcore mode for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Hardcore mode makes the game more difficult but also more immersive. Players who wish for a tougher challenge can enjoy what Warhorse Studios has in store. This mode comes to the game on July 25, 2025.
In Hardcore mode, helpful UI features are limited. You cannot see yourself on the map and the directions aren’t visible on the compass. Furthermore, fast travel will be disabled. This forces you to rely on your own sense of direction to find your way.
