WWE champion and Hollywood star John Cena’s relationship with fellow WWE colleague Nikki Bella is well documented. The two stars began dating in 2012 and were engaged to be married in 2017. Unfortunately, their relationship hit a rocky patch which led to the couple breaking up in 2018.

Before his 5 year romance with Nikki Bella, John Cena was married to his first wife Elizabeth Huberdeau, a real estate agent. The pair share a long history having first met in high school and eventually becoming college sweethearts. After a 3 year marriage, the couple were divorced but it is the settlement that Huberdeau allegedly received from her ex-husband Cena that raised eyebrows.

Did Nicki Bella Have A Hand In John Cena’s Divorce?

Hollywood action starJohn Cenahas been involved in his fare share of relationships. While his most public romance was with WWE star Nikki Bella, the actor was earlier married to real estate agent Elizabeth Huberdeau between 2009 and 2012. Following his divorce from Huberdeau, Cena almost immediately entered into a romance withNikki Bella.

But Cena’s decision to proceed with a mammoth divorce settlement of 55 million dollars to his first wife sparked big rumors about the actor’s ulterior motive regarding Bella. According to many reports, the actor who wanted to move on in his relationship with the WWE star without any trouble, allegedly played the monetary card with his ex-spouse. These claims though are only speculative at best since Elizabeth Huberdeau is a successful professional in her own right, earning a handsome sum of money with her job as a real estate agent for over 20 years.
