Jim Caviezel, who starred in the lead role in the 2023 indie movieSound of Freedomindeed broke the record when he beat Tom Cruise’s movie by earning millions.

As per the box office records, theJim Caviezelstarrer 2023 movieSound of Freedomsurprised the people with a record-breaking number. The movie went on to earn $151.4 million at the domestic box office. Not bad for a movie made with a limited budget of $14.5 million! To put things into perspective, Tom Cruise’sMission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Oneearned less than $140 million at the box office.
Breaking further records, the 2023 Vin Diesel starrer which is part of an iconic franchise,Fast X,also earned a low figure of $145 million at the domestic box office. The Jim Caviezel starrer however, seems to have outrun several blockbusters and is doing pretty well with audiences and fans alike.

With the release of the movie, Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, hosted a private screening of the film. Many notable politicians were present at the screening and they seemed to have enjoyed watchingSound of Freedom.
The Passion of the Christactor Jim Caviezel further stated that the film was so overwhelming for his dear friend and notable director Mel Gibson that he wept!

Portraying the story of Tim Ballard, who quit his job to rescue a girl from ruthless child traffickers, the thriller movie went on to receive a rating of 7.9/10 on IMDB and 72% on Rotten Tomatoes.Sound of Freedomis currently screening in select theaters across the U.S.
