Working on quite a similar plot of what she was experiencing in real life, helped her a lot to process things better. In fact, the rom-com even helped her move forward in her life by giving the situation a lighter take.

There was another thing though, that really helped her move on with her life. Namely, her blooming friendship with co-star Vince Vaughn on the set. However, an incident during that short period when they became romantically involved, made Aniston question again, whether she really made the right choice this time.

The happy couple while returning from their trip to Arizona apparently got pulled over by the cops. The allegations were that Vaughn was driving under the influence, which resulted in them violating traffic rules.

As a result, they got pulled over by the cops on a busy road with witnesses around. According to those witnesses, Vaughn had to even come out of the car to take a sobriety test when the officer smelled alcohol in the car.
