Ezra Miller staring down the head of a barrel

Ever since allegations that Ezra Miller had choked a woman came to the fore, fans have been wary of them. Charges for disorderly behavior and harassment in Hawaii didn’t help their cause. Miller’s stocks have nosedived in light of these controversies, with no recovery in sight.

The decline in popularity ratings had a detrimental impact on Miller’s career prospects. New projects would maintain a healthy distance from them. Twitterati had begun campaigns for removing them from the projects they were a part of.

Ezra Miller’s days as The Flash might be over

In this dark time,The Flashheld a lot of importance for them. Ezra Miller doesn’t have many roles in the bag that they can boast about. The Flash is one of the few roles that they have to rely upon for turning over this dark chapter in their life. But the latest entrant in the DC Extended Universe’s Box Office debacle leaves a big question mark on his future.

A change of guard might be on the cards though. The rumor mill is running amok with reports that we’ve seen the last of Ezra Miller as The Flash. It doesn’t seem farfetched to believe the same. And one fan seems to have found some conclusive evidence to back his claim.

Yeah; I’m pretty sure after the latest box office debacle it’s scorched earth on the last remnants of the#DCEU. It’s a dead-end universe and we won’t see any carryover. Tabula rasa; black slate!

Some fans were quick to point out how this was unbecoming of a man of James Gunn’s stature.

It’s embarrassing. He needs to stay tf off Twitter

If I were Zaslav I’d take his phone away — no wait. I’d fire him.

While there was one user who pointed out that this is mere conjecture.

Ezra plays the flash in different timelines though as shown in the movie itself. It doesn’t mean Ezra is done. If he is, so be it, but@JamesGunnliking of that tweet doesn’t justify your conclusion
