While fans are desperately waiting for some good news, a theory posted by a Reddit user could break many hearts for a beloved character, Q who aids the Playboy spy in the franchise. The role has been portrayed by Ben Whishaw in the 2021 film,No Time to Die.
James Bond Might be a Test Dummy for Q

While James Bond has always ended up solving the problems that lay ahead of him, getting help from his loyal acquaintance, Q, his gadgets’ twist was what many anticipated at almost every turn in the movie. The super-smart character happens to end up helping Bond with his gadgets if he gets in trouble. However, a recent post by a Reddit user presented a theory in which this character is seen in a completely different light. Not just that, Q also claimed to have been using the 007 agent to test his prototype technologies.
Putting forward their theory, they commented,
“How is it that every time James Bond gets captured, he’s put into a very specific situation where he can only escape using the very specific gadgets given to him by Q at the start of his assignment.”
It’s surely an intriguing speculation since this situation has always ended up happening at some point. They continued to explain their theory stating,
“James Bond is nothing more than a test Dummy, manipulated by Q through MI6 to field test his gadgets.”
It is quite a heavy speculation on a character that has aided the spy in his difficult situations. However, the theory has delved much more than that.

The user continued to share their insights going as far as doubting the Q Division head of being evil.
“And that Q is in reality an (evil?) international arms dealer and the true head of Spectre.”
They also went on to share the reasons to support the wild theory.
“Reasons I believe this are, A: There is no way Q could naturally foresee James Bond needing something so stupidity specific like an inflatable bubble (The world is not enough) to be useful, let alone life saving.”
Convincing? Well, there’s more to it!
“B: We already know Q has no issues using live test subjects, as almost all of the scenes in Q Branch we see scientists get blown up or almost decapitated by a magnetic plate. His disregard to human life resembles that of Blowfeld and all of the other big name villains. Who’s to say blowfeld isn’t just Qs puppet. C: In the spy who loved me, Soviet Agent XXX mentions that she has seen the blueprints to the underwater car, did she break into a highly secure MI6 lab?? Maybe, but I think a much simpler explanation is $$$[money].”
Given the disturbing theory, it is hellbent on pointing out that Q could be the mastermind who has Bond’s escape under his control. Meanwhile, the announcement of a new James Bond is quite an anticipated topic since many talented actors are on the list who can succeedDaniel Craig.
