Speaking withEntertainment Tonight, Vin Diesel discussed the surprising return of Dwayne Johnson in the latest installment, FastX. Discussing the importance of the actor’s brief cameo for Luke Hobbs to reunite with theFast & Furiousfranchise, Diesel confessed going through a lot of troubles.

“When you end the movie with a cliffhanger of that magnitude, you only do that when you believe that your audience believes in you. But it was no easy task because so much has been created in this universe. And to tie up all the storylines, this character [Hobbs] needed to come back into the mythology.” Vin Diesel claimed.

Because the fans were able to grapple with Jason Momoa’s appearance as a formidable opponent,Vin Dieselfelt it was fine to bring back Dwayne Johnson as well. Therefore, working with director Louis Leterrier, the 56-year-old welcomed Johnson to the franchise.
