Tenoch Huerta was a recent addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing Namor inBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever. After this movie, fans were impressed by his performance and were very excited to see what was in store for his character next. But to everyone’s surprise, Huerta’s journey with the MCU might be raking a halt in light of recent news.
The star was recently accused of s*xual assault by saxophonist and well-known activist, María Elena Ríos, who made these claims in a series of tweets. Though Huerta has stated that these claims are false, the impact on his growing career has already been made.

Tenoch Huerta Accused of S*xual Assult By Ex-Girlfriend
Tenoch HuertaandMaría Elena Ríoswere both part of Poder Prieto, an organization that focuses on combating racism in Mexico. In a series of tweets written in Spanish, Ríos claimed that she was trying to distance herself from this organization as she believes that they pursued her for the sole purpose of avoiding a scandal, with the release ofBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverbeing very close at the time.
“I made it very clear to them when I left their sect that they protect the violator and sxual PREDATOR of Tenoch Huerta that they not publish anything about me. They still went to look for me at a hypocritical ball concert to avoid scandals over their Marvel movie.”She stated in a series of tweets translated from Spanish,“It is very difficult to talk about the emotional abuse and abuse of power of a sxual predator who is loved in the world for playing a character in a movie like Tenoch Huerta. Charming in appearance, the great hallmark of a narcissist + a good helping of victimization”.
She then went on to accuse Huerta of being a “violent and s*xual predator”, also accusing him of abusing his power. She even claimed that he had done this to many other people.

Tenoch Huerta Quits Netflix Movie Following S*xual Assult Accusations
Tenoch Huerta released a statement in which he completely denied all these accusations, calling them false statements and saying that they have caused him quite a lot of damage. The actor was set to star in an upcoming Netflix movieFiesta en la Madriguera,based on a novel of the same name. However, due to these recent events and accusations made by María Elena Ríos, theBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverstar has chosen to withdraw from the role.
“Given the impact of the recent false statements by María Elena Ríos and the damage they have caused, I have no choice but to withdraw from participating in the film Fiesta en la Madriguera.”he continued,“It is with great sadness that I do this, but I cannot allow her actions to harm not only me, but also the work of dozens of talented and hard-working people involved in the project. My focus now is simple: continue the process of restoring my reputation.”
Tenoch Huerta has stated that he does not wish to jeopardize the movie’s performance as well as the people who will be involved in it. He also went on to add that he will not allow her claims to harm him or anyone else tied to him. He also claimed Ríos misinterpreted his actions after the two broke up.
