In a recent video uploaded by James Gunn on his Twitter, he revealed the tentative roadmap of the DCU, announcing that there will be 10 projects: 5 moves, and 5 TV series. One of the movies that was a part of Chapter 1 of the DCU wasThe Brave and The Bold, which will be showcasing the bat family, with Robin being confirmed in the film.

In the announcement there were no cast revelations or news on who will helm the directorial seat. However, industry insiders are hinting that Andy Muschietti, the director of theFlashmovie will also be directingThe Brave and The Bold.

In an interview, Andy Muschietti teased the DC fans by revealing howThe Flashis only the tip of the iceberg. Keeping the confidential information to himself, he revealed how he would be part of numerous DC projects. He revealed his excitement and revealed it would open the window to ‘new adventures.’ Here’s what he said in the interview:
“I can’t tell you a lot about the future of this, the future of the Multiverse in DC, but I can tell you I’m very excited about it as a filmmaker cracking this acorn and opening the window to new adventures in the Multiverse is super exciting.”
“The Multiverse has been a thing in the comic book world for decades, and decades, and decades, and I think it’s a good time to take it into [the movies]. It’s also very special that our Multiverse is not just a Multiverse of characters, it’s a Multiverse of films. It’s a cinematic Multiverse as you might already know by looking at the names that are showing up like Michael Keaton reprising his role as Batman, it’s very exciting and one of the reasons that I got closer and closer to this project.”
The Brave and The Boldwould be an interesting watch as fans would get the iconic duo of Damien Wayne’s Robin and Bruce Wayne’s Batman and probably more characters from the Bat family. Despite nothing being announced by Warner Bros. or the DC studios, it would be intriguing to see who would be the director.
