According toThe Hollywood Reporter, Idris Elba will pick up the gun and replace Will Smith as Deadshot for James Gunn’sThe Suicide Squad,which is set to hit theaters on August 6th, 2021.
Smith couldn’t be involvedwith the project due to scheduling conflicts, but apparentlyWarner Bros.has found its replacement for the Deadshot character. It’s currently unknown who will be joining Elba in the sequel but many state that Margot Robbie will be returning as Harley Quinn.

Suicide Squadis now available on Blu-ray and Digital. The upcoming sequel, directed by James Gunn, is scheduled to hit theaters on August 6th, 2021.
