Hunter x Huntermanga creator Yoshihiro Togashi recently returned to the manga, releasing new chapters on a weekly schedule giving fans the further story of the series for which they have been waiting for a long time. However, soon after this, the manga had to return to an indefinite schedule as Togashi’s health was not completely okay.
Togashi has been creating the manga series for a long time and now he is working on one of the most important arcs in the story, the Succession War contest arc which has unveiled some new characters, new storylines, and even some new twists. These new additions have once again brought back the popularity of the series and fans are excited once again.
Along with creating new chapters, Togashi also shared some information regarding the series which includes the revelation of his own favoriteHunter x Hunterability which isn’t actually an ability. Along with that, he also revealed the power he would like to have in real life.

Yoshihiro Togashi Reveals Their FavoriteHunter x HunterAbility
Yumiko Seki, a former member of Sakurazaka46, recently sent Togashi a list of eleven questions, and he responded with a lengthy handwritten letter which was later translated byTogashi’s Troupe. This letter contained the answer about what was Togashi’s favorite ability in the series. Togashi answered:
“As for what I like, it would be the older sister’s (the Tenth Prince) “Season of Two (Without You)”. While I was drawing the storyboards, I saw the choreographer TAKAHIRO talking on a show about the intention behind the choreography of “Season of Two” and his interpretation of the song.”
He further said:
“I was so moved and inspired by it that I finished the storyboards all at once. I like these two songs so much that when I see them side by side in a live concert setlist, my emotional balance collapses. Yes, I like the songs more than the ability itself.”
The ability belongs to Kacho Hui Guo Rou, the tenth prince of the Kakin Empire. “Season of Two”, is a reference to the third single by the Japanese girl idol group Keyakizaka46, and the main name, “Without You”, comes from the fourth track from the“Masshirona Mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru”music album of the same idol group.

Yoshihiro Togashi Revealed The Ability He Would Like To Use
While answering the question Togashi also explained that although he has a favorite ability, he would want to use a different ability for himself. In the letter, he wrote that he would use the eleventh prince’s ability. He said:
“As for what I would like to use, it would be the younger sister’s (the Eleventh Prince) “Secret Door (Magical Worm)”. It would save me travel time and expenses, and if my lower back happened to go out during the trip, I could use it to crawl to a hospital.”
Talking about the ability Togashi explained how it would help him save a lot of time and money and he could use this ability to move to a hospital in an instant if his lower back goes out again in the future.
