Stanley Tucci Could Not Propose To Felicity Blunt Without Feeling Guilty

His then-wife was diagnosed with breast cancer, a battle she unfortunately lost. The actor was so shaken by what had happened that things were nowhere near good when he opened himself up to dating again.
“I panicked instantly afterwards. It was very hard to go on vacations at first, really hard to go with Felicity someplace. I felt guilty. It’s horrible.”
When he and Felicity Blunt started going on dates, all the actor could feel was guilt. Loss is not easy on anyone and Tucci slowly learned to get out of it, something Blunt had a huge part in. All he could think about was his previous wife and how the two had been with each other. He felt as if he was doing something wrong by going out with someone else. This feeling of guilt was so nerve-wracking for him that even while he was proposing to the writer, it had been a rather difficult experience for him.

Stanley Tucci Adores Felicity Blunt’s Love for Food
Stanley Tucci was in awe after he saw just how much Felicity Blunt could eat. Seeing someone with her body type, he was confused as to how she had such a huge appetite. However, their love for food became a massive bonding activity for the couple, something they ultimately learned would turn their feelings for each other into the intimate bond they share now.
They started going on food dates and even managed to hate a four-hour long dinner once. The dinner was more shocking for Tucci because, after the meal, he was so full that he could not even move. On the other hand, Blunt was ready to eat even more.
