Hugh Jackman’s NSFW Scene FromX-Men Origins: Wolverine

Hugh Jackman, who has been dedicatedly playing the role of the X-Men character Wolverine, for more than a decade, recalled his NSFW scene from his 2009 movieX-Men Origins: Wolverine. Although his movies are supposed to be family-friendly, Fox purposefully left his n*de scene completely uncensored.

Apart from the scene being an important part of the movie, Jackman felt it was time for films to have the liberty to portray n*de scenes. Thus, while Fox left the uncut version, the actor mentioned having a fun time filming it. Recalling his NSFW scene from the movie, Jackman discussed his experience onThe Graham Norton Show.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

“It was a very intense scene where I first realize having an adamantium skeleton. I’ve been experimented on, I’m naked. There’s blood.”

Initially feeling awkward, Jackman insisted on performing the n*de scene within a close set. “There was a very intense first scene and I insisted on a closed set” the actor mentioned. However, Hugh Jackman eventually enjoyed the scene to a great extent. He stated that he “quite enjoyed” being naked on set for he found it a “very freeing feeling”.

Receiving such a shocking and bizarre reaction from the female crew was quite nerve-wracking for the actor. Although he laughed while narrating the story in retrospect, he must have felt utterly shocked when it happened. However, it wasn’t the only terrifying thing that happened during his NSFW scene.

Apart from his bizarre encounter with women on set while filming naked, Hugh Jackman almost had a severe injury during the scene. The actor admitted nearly cutting off his genitals with the sharp metal claws during the scene. “I tried to cover myself and cut my inner thigh – it was just the inner thigh thankfully” the actor mentioned.

Despite almost having a terrifying accident and facing a bizarre encounter with his female crew, the actor confessed to liking the overall experience.
