Jennifer Lawrence Recalled Her Near-Death Experience
In the summer of 2017,Jennifer Lawrenceboarded a private plane from her hometown, Louisville, Kentucky, to New York City. During her interview, Lawrence shared that everyone was informed that two engines of the plane had failed after they heard a loud noise.
While they were told that they could still make an emergency landing with one engine, theMotheractress and her fellow passengers were scared it might not turn out in their favor.“My skeleton was all that was left in the seat,”she said.

Lawrence said that she started“leaving little mental voicemails”to her family, saying,“I’ve had a great life, I’m sorry.”She shared that she also started praying that she would survive the incident. “I’ll be a burn victim, this will be painful, but maybe we’ll live,”she shared.
Thankfully, the plane was able to land safely in Buffalo. And theJoyactress was horrified at the thought of boarding another plane. Lawrence stated that the incident made her weaker, as she shared,“Flying is horrific,”but she cannot avoid it as she has to do it all the time.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Forever Trauma
In 2014 Jennifer Lawrence became the victim of a hack that targeted multiple public figures, in which her private pictures were released on the internet. During her interview with Vanity Fair, she opened up about the trauma it has caused her. She said,“Anybody can go look at my naked body without my consent, any time of the day.”
As she shared that somebody in France published the pictures online, she mentioned that the trauma caused by the leak will always follow her.“My trauma will exist forever,”she shared. TheX-Menstar has also described the leaking of her private pictures as“disgusting”and referred to it as a“s*x crime”instead of a scandal.

Lawrence also shared that the whole scandal also impacted her professional life. She was initially hesitant to accept the offer for the 2018 filmRed Sparrow,as it featured some nude scenes. However, she accepted the offer and did the scene in an effort to take something back that was taken from her.
