Recalling one of these incidents, she revealed one of her most mortifying interactions with her fans when she caught them talking about her, and not in a good way.

But this time, she took her fans off guard.
On the promotion tour of her then-upcoming filmAsteroidCitywith prolific filmmaker Wes Anderson, theBlack Widowstar was asked about the most awkward and strange fan encounter she had. She was quick to reply, recalling this incident where she was once in a restaurant bathroom stall, and she heard a couple of her female fans talking about her. commenting on how short she was in person than what she seemed from her on-screen appearances. She said this was really mortifying as they didn’t know she was listening, saying:
“I was in a resturaunt bathroom one time, and I walked in and there was nobody there. A couple of women came in after me and started talking about how short I was in person. I was like ‘I have to walk out of this bathroom stall and see these people’. It was so awful. I came out and I was like ‘I am shorter.’ They were so mortified.”
While this encounter may have been a really strange one, it was a memory that would stay with both the actress and her fans, for better or for worse.
