World of Darkness Chaotic Raid in Final Fantasy XIV Online is finally here. Learn how to unlock the Alliance Raid.
After the Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.15, players can now face the World of Darkness Chaotic Raid. It is an updated version of the originalCloud of Darknessboss battle. If you couldn’t carry on this fight the first time around, you should be able to do so now. There’s a bit of a grind though.
World of Darkness is a fairly common raid that you will get on your Duty Finder. Since December 24th, 2024 has passed, this updated raid has been unlocked for all players. However, if you are confused about how to get access to it, keep reading along.
Steps To Access the World of Darkness Chaotic Raid
There are a few required pre-requisites for you to have met before you’re able to access this raid. Players must have:
These are all unlocked in different ways. you’re able to continue taking up combat jobs to level up that aspect of your profile. Moreover, theitem level scorecan be increased by spending enough gold/crafting items to get to this level. After completing the said requirements, the last step is all that needs to be completed.
You must now head to the Wandering Minstrel in Tuliyollal. The coordinates for the location are (11.1, 14.6). Interact with theblue quest markerthat you see here and select theWorld of Darknessoption. You will then have unlocked the raid in question once the cutscene is over!
Now that you have unlocked the raid, it’s time to finally start queuing for it! Open theDuty Finderto selectHigh-end Dutyand click the greenChaotic Alliance Raidicon.
Next, click on theWorld of Darkness (Chaotic)to queue up for it. It’s an Alliance Raid. Once you are done with it, you’re able to simply take the Clouddark Demimateria to Uah’shepya in Solution Nine and trade it to get desirable items.
