“I wish there could be [a sequel],–I mean, I would love to make it a reality but I just don’t know when or how. And how many Mission Impossibles does he [Cruise] need.”

AlthoughEdge of Tomorrowdidn’t feature the same jaw-dropping stunts as theMIfranchise, it still had its fair share of intense moments for the action hero Tom Cruise. According to the Daily Mail, during the filming of a challenging driving scene,TheDevil Wears Pradaactress suggested increasing the speed to make it work, and despite Cruise’s reservations, he decided to take the risk and go with it. Blunt stated,
“I tear down this part and Tom’s being very quiet behind me I hear him under his breath as I approach the right-hand turn, going ‘Brake, brake, brake. Brake. Brake, brake, brake… Oh God. Brake, brake, brake. Brake it hard! Brake hard!’–I left it too late, and so drove us into a tree … I almost killed Tom Cruise.”
