He revealed his fondness for the idea from the comics where, on Logan’s birthday, his brother would visit and engage in a brutal fight. He explained,

“The other idea that I always loved was the idea in the comics that every year on Logan’s birthday, his brother comes and beats the crap out of him.”

However, amid the thrill of representing the mutant superhero, there was one aspect that brought him relief the absence of the yellow and green spandex costume.

In an interview, Jackman humorously expressed his aversion to the yellow tights, playfully stating,

“I think it’s safe to say that I and yellow tights don’t get on. There were a couple of things I couldn’t work out how to do. Fans always say, When are we gonna see you in the blue and yellow spandex? We’ve gotta see that shot.”

Fans of the Marvel comics may recall Wolverine’s signature attire, but the film adaptation took a different approach, opting for a more powerful and shirtless portrayal.

Now, he’s set to reprise his role inDeadpool 3as both he and Ryan Reynolds become a part of the MCU. The movie will hit the theatres on 06 June 2025.
