On initially receiving the offer from Christopher Nolan to star in the director’s most important work to date, even an actor like the stature of Robert Downey Jr. went numb, which makes sense. And for those who aren’t History buffs, his character also fills the criteria for a good twist villain and the third act witnesses the actor going full throttle, as he reveals his original motives.
Following his dedication to the craft alongside the commitment from everyone else,Oppenheimeris being deemed as the best movie of 2023 so far, despite facing fierce competition. And RDJ even went a step far, declaring it as the best film he has ever been in.
“Just going to flat out say it: This is the best film I’ve ever been in,”he said.“I cannot wait for you all to experience it.”
