And recently whenThe Mandalorianactor didn’t back away from shutting down the racist and homophobic trolls in a wholesome fashion when he was asked about his response against the hate towards The Last of Us’ queer representation.

Pedro Pascal politely shuts down homophobic trolls
Apart from being a worthy adaptation of 2013’s Game of the Year winner and bringing the iconic story to life through the brilliance of its crew members,The Last of Usalso didn’t back away from touching on the importance of queer representation. And even though many fans have commended the Pedro Pascal-led series for fleshing out the relationship between Bill and Frank, there has been a portion of racist and homophobic trolls that haven’t shied away from spewing hate for the show.
And whenPedro Pascalwas asked about his response to the situation about people who don’t want to see LGBTQ+ character love stories, Pascal politely responded with,“they do”. And when asked again about why LGBTQ+ characters need to get proper representation in TV shows, in a wholesome manner the actor replied,“You should know why”.

Pedro Pascal once again expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community
Recently,The Last of Usactor once again voiced his support for the LGBTQ+ community through his social media handles. On 5th March, the actor took to Instagram and uploaded several photos of the Pride Flag with a heartfelt caption stating,“The answer my friend is blowin’ in the wind”, which refers to Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ in the Wind”, a song that has been previously used as a protest song for many civil rights group.
And following his act, several stars from across the globe, including his fans have commended the actor for voicing his support for the LBTQ+ community and shutting down the racist and homophobic trolls.
