Being a director is certainly not an easy job, especially when you’re James Cameron. The director has created some of the best Hollywood movies, so naturally, he has the power to skip some major events. The director refused to show up at the 95th Academy Awards earlier this year and his way of choosing to video conference instead of a face-to-face interview has attracted a lot of attention on social media.

Fans quickly noticed that Cameron was attending the interview from his sea-themed. “man cave.” The two successful directors talked about their processes of writing and developing their movies, but it seems like the attention was on Cameron.

James Cameron also skipped the 95th Academy Awards
Earlier this year, Cameron shocked the industry and his fans when he didn’t show up at the 95th Academy Awards. It was indeed very odd as Cameron is, without a doubt, one of the most influential directors of the entertainment industry. Producer Jon Landau revealed that Cameron skipped the event due to “personal reasons.”
At the event, Cameron’sAvatar: The Way of Waterearned four nominations but it seems like he is too focused on the nextAvatarfilm, which is all set to release in 2025. That’s not it as a fourth and fifth movie is also confirmed so, it’s safe to say that Cameron will not be leaving his “man cave” for a long time.
