Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s addition to the DC Universe as Black Adam introduced another anti-hero that the heroes could face off against. However, the reign of Henry Cavill as Superman finally ended after an unfortunate back-and-forth. Even though he had been recently announced to be back as the character, the news only lasted for a very short time.

Black Adamseemed to be the last hope Cavill’s Superman had and that too did not work as the requirements for the character in the future of the DC Universe are much different. The movie is officially available on HBO Max and while that may be an occasion to celebrate, The Rock has never been silent in terms of supporting Cavill as the Scarlet-Caped hero.
