Both Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are big names in the entertainment industry and have well-decorated careers to each of their names. However, sometimes the drama exceeds the screens and finds a place in the real lives of the actors. Something similar happened with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger when the latter had an affair with the former’s partner of that time.
However, all of that drama took a backseat when Sylvester Stallone was going through one of the most difficult times of a parent’s life. Back in 2012, Sylvester Stallone lost his son, Sage Stallone, due to a heart attack. During this time, Arnold Schwarzenegger extended his condolences to Sylvester Stallone and his family and stated that he and his family will be right there for him if he ever needed support.

When Sage Stallone passed away in 2012,Sylvester Stallonewas rightfully devastated. No parent can ever be prepared for hearing such heartbreaking and soul-shattering news and the same goes for Stallone. During this difficult situation,Arnold Schwarzeneggerreleased a statement in support of Stallone. He stated,
“My thoughts and prayers are with Sly and his family. Sly has become a great friend over the past couple decades, and I know how important his children are to him. I want him to know that my family and I, and his fans all over the world, support him during this difficult time.”
The Los Angeles coroners revealed that bottles of prescription medication were found on the scene and some tests revealed sedative hydrocodone in his system. Sage Stallone’s friend however denied that his death had anything to do with drugs as he wasn’t“the kind of guy”who would take his own life. Later it was revealed that he died of a heart attack and according to a toxicology report, there were no signs of excessive drug use.
After the unfortunate incident, Stallone returned the favor by being there for Schwarzenegger when he was going through his split fromMaria Shriver. The two separated when Shriver found out about the relationship Schwarzenegger had with their housekeeper.

The Bromance Continues
This wasn’t the last time Schwarzenegger was going to stand beside Stallone. In 2016, the Oscars delivered one of the biggest upsets of the event when the actor didn’t receive an award for his performance inCreed.For those who don’t know, Stallone reprised his iconic role of Rocky Balboa inCreed.However, despite that, the award was given to the well-deservingMark Rylancefor his role inBridge of Spies.
Needless to say, fans were quite upset for Stallone but someone was even more furious. Schwarzenegger took to his Twitter to support his friend. He posted a ten-second video stating that he was proud of Stallone and he was the winner to him, despite what happened at the 88thAcademy Awards. He captioned the post,“To me, you’re the best, no matter what they say.”
